The trip editor screen will allow you to add an
overall story of a trip. The Track Editor will allow you to add
stories specific to a track. When you open a adventure or you are adding a new adventure you can get the
following dialog when the Adventure editor is started: Since version 2.0, track 'n share autmatically detects the
country or countries you have visited in this adventure. When you choose yes,
the flags of the countries you have visited will be shown at the top of the
Adventure editor and in the "Select Adventure" screen. As you can see, the
adventure below was situated in Australia. The "Edit text" screen contains a number of text
fields where you can add your stories. At the top it the title of the trip. The
start and enddates are automatically derived from the trackdata but of course
you can manually change them. The next two large fields are public and private
information. If you have chosen "All information is public" in the Settings
screen, you will see only a public textbox here. The top (public) textbox can be
used to enter any stories that you would like to share if you chose to upload in
Step 3 of the wizard. Enter text you would like to keep to your own in the lower
textbox. This text will remain on your computer and will never be shared with
anybody else. You will have a number of options to add formatting to your
stories (in the order shown on screen): Edit your tracks If you want to edit your tracks, you can go to the Track editor by pressing
the "Edit Tracks" button. Read more about the GPX track editor screen
here.
Notice that you do now only have the save option in the track editor screen. You
do not have the option to add your tracks to another adventure. Opening the track editor
screen In the lower part, you will see a list of tracks
belonging to the trip. You can double-click on the track you want to add text to
(or press the "edit track experience" button, once you have selected a trip. You
can add weather and wind information as well as text to your tracks. Click here to read
more. Saving the adventure Once you are done editing, press Save. Add a country manually It might be that track 'n share misses a country you have
actually visited. In this case you can add flags manually. To do this, click on
the "Add a country" hyperlink at the top of the screen. The following screen
will open: you can select any flags you want to add and press the Ok button when
done. Delete a country flag If you want to delete a flag, you can select the flag(s) you want to delete
and press the delete key on the keyboard of right-click and choose delete.
