The track editor screen allows you to edit your
tracks before you save the adventure. The screen looks like this: On the left you can see that there are two
tracks in this GPX. On the right you will see the track(s) currently selected in
on the satellite image and the coordinates in the
bottom half. Anywhere in the application where you see a red line, you are able to change
the size of the panels. To do this, position the mouse cursor over a red line
and you will notice the cursor changes shape to form a line. Now, press the left
mouse button and adjust to slider to your liking. The
position of the screen is saved and the next time it will open with the same
settings you last worked with. When you right-click on the tracks on the left side
of the screen, you will be presented with a context menu like the one shown
below. Combine tracks Rename track Delete track(s) Combine All Group by date Split on time gap There are a few options available to process the
trip Add to trip Save new trip Cancel
Is active when
more than one track is selected and combines those tracks into one.
Gives you the option
to give a track a meaningful name
Delete the

Combine all tracks
into one
Group all tracks by
date. This function can be handy if you have multiple tracks in one day that you
would like to combine.
This function
gives you the option to specify a time gap in minutes (eg 120 minutes). If there
is a gap of 120 minutes or more between two track points, an new track will be
created. Also when the gap between two points is negative a new track will be
created. The last function comes in handy when a GPS does not record date values
but only time, such as the older Magellan models.
Choose this option if
you want to add these tracks to an existing track.
Choose this
option if you want to create a new trip
Stop processing this GPX
and start again with Step 1.
