Creating a new adventure

Remember you set the "Use public and private information" option in the settings screen? In the editor screen you are presented 2 editors. The top one is the public editor and all text entered in this textbox is uploaded to the track 'n share website if you choose to upload your adventure. The bottom editor is marked "Private". Any information entered in this box will remain on your computer and is never uploaded. Use this textbox if you want to enter stories that you do not want everyone to read.

When the screen is first opened you will get the following question:

Track 'n share can automatically determine the country (or countries) in which the track was recorded. When you press Yes, you will notice a progressbar in the upper right corner of the screen and pretty soon, you should see the flag of Australlia.

Begin by entering a Name for your adventure. The name is mandatory if you want to upload the trip.

Notice that some buttons are disabled (greyed out). To activate them, you will first need to save the adventure. Press "Save" now. You will get a message that your adventures was saved successfully.

Ok you can add some text if you like. There are a few options to make your text look good in the toolbars. When you are done, let's go to the next step: Adding text specific to your track!
